Managed to get a standing ticket and went with my brother and a mate last night.
I have to say it was the best Stereophonics gig I've ever been to, being a small venue the atmosphere was tremendous.
The set list was similar to the Decade in the Sun tour, but hey did Last Of The Big Time Drinkers and Goldfish bowl. Both of which I haven't heard them do since the J.E.E.P tour.
It was great to be in a crowd of hardcore fans who really appreciate the early stuff as much as me. Just need to hear them to do T-Shirt Sun Tan and I will have heard them perfrom all of my favourites over the many times I've seen them live.
The band even plucked a young lad, of about 8 or 9, out of the crowd for the last song. He got to sit on one of the amps and watch the band perform Datkota, he even got to strum on Adam's guitar at the end of the song.
Hope to see the 'Tonics at Silverstone on the Friday of the GP.
It just doesn't get any better than that.
Can't wait.
